the lord’s supper brethren style

Brethren churches get a lot of flack, not least from those who are members.  Some of this is deserved and self-criticism is healthy.  However, by no means all is deserved and some is destructive.   I thoroughly recommend this blog by Nicky Mackison on the Lord’s Supper within an Open Brethren tradition.   Like Nicky, I think this service is central to biblical faith and to much that is wholesome about Brethren piety.

I hope his comments are widely read and look forward to further blogs he may make on this topic.
